Jolt 72 wins the Maxi European Championship

Jolt 72 achieved an outstanding 2026 season highlight by winning the Maxi European Championship in Sorrento. The team followed that success with third place at the Maxi World Championship in Porto Cervo.

Hugh Styles contributed coaching and performance support within the wider Jolt 72 programme, working with the team to strengthen decision-making, communication and execution under pressure.

Winning in Sorrento was the product of a coordinated effort across the sailing and shore teams. The subsequent World Championship podium in Porto Cervo underlined the team’s ability to perform consistently against leading international competition.
